Born 1963 in Romford Essex (North East London on the map). Grew up in Swansea South Wales. Educated at Swansea University in History (1991); the University of Sheffield in Biblical Studies (2003) and Creative Writing/Literature and Creative Media, (also from Sheffield, commenced September of 2008' currently in 2nd year of study). Resident in Chesterfield since 1996, and married to Sue since 1997. My health prevents me from working at present, but my employment has included The Prison Service, Royal Mail and the DVLA (DVLC when I was there). My work has featured in anthologies and reputable poetry magazines, plus the BBC South Yorkshire website. In November of 2005, I read a selection live on internet Christian radio. I've self-published four poetry chapbooks since 2004 and in approx. 2-3 weeks (as of October 8th 2009) my fifth collection, 'Keeping the Wicket of Winter' will appear.
